About
The Urban Resi Group are a collective of privately owned property trading and property investment companies based in London. Over the past 10 years, we have delivered over 30,000 sq ft of high quality new build construction and residential conversion projects to the property market. We have transacted over £25m of property during this time.
We work directly with property owners and land agents to source strategic buildings and sites with development potential. We will only acquire properties in high demand areas with good transport links and access to local amenities.
We employ a small in-house building team and engage with approved construction partners on a tender basis to ensure that our development costs are the most competitive in the market.
All of our projects are privately funded by our managing director and high net worth investors, ensuring we can commit to new deals and complete transactions on a timely basis.

VALUES
Nilesh Patel
Managing Director at Urban Resi

After achieving a 2:1 degree in Economics from City University, Nilesh worked in various investment banking roles in the City until 2019 to focus full time on developing the Urban Resi Group.
Having started his property journey with limited capital and experience, he acquired his first 1 bedroom flat in 2007 with a 100% residential mortgage (yes, it was possible back then!). He steadily built up his portfolio, funding it largely by a successful banking career and trading property. Nilesh progressed from light cosmetic refurbishments, structural conversion projects to new build developments. Having learnt the property business bottom up by practical application (and by making every mistake imaginable!), he has now grown into a seasoned and experienced property developer.
Nilesh believes that personal alignment to the Urban Resi product is a key component for success and as such he has a personal financial stake in every Urban Resi project. Nilesh will not approve the building of any accommodation that he personally would not be happy to live in!
